Developing New Directions in Language Education

My research takes me to the leading edge of language education. With a continuing interest in Task-Based Learning, I am now investigating new areas such as Precision Language Education and Rhizomatic Language Learning.

I am vitally interested in listening and reading comprehension, both skills of central relevance to language-learning. Listening in particular is under-researched.

I am heavily involved in Technology-Enhanced Language Learning and Artificial Intelligence in education.

The future belongs to AI and technology-based educational research.
